Change Default Access URL of phpMyAdmin

It is always a good idea to to change the default http://yourhost.com/phpmyadmin to something like http://yourhost.com/yourdb to hide it from easy access to others.

Here's how to do it:

sudo nano /etc/phpmyadmin/apache.conf

Change:
Alias /phpmyadmin /usr/share/phpmyadmin

To:
Alias /yourdb /usr/share/phpmyadmin

Thanks for this guide. I want to do this for so long but don't know how to do this. Indeed, this is a basic security feature that we need to change by default as many will try to use phpmyadmin to hack into your database.
